Functional Overview
The IS215UCVFH2A is a 24-channel discrete (digital) input module in the GE Mark VIe control system. Its primary function is to collect discrete signals (contact open/close signals) generated by field devices such as sensors,
 switches, and relays, convert them into digital signals that can be recognized and processed by the PLC or control system CPU,
and transmit the processed data to the GE Speedtronic turbine control system or other control equipment, enabling automated control and monitoring.

Eaton completed the acquisition of MGE ‘s low-power system business called MGE Office Protection Systems on November 1 for a total price of 425 million euros (USD 607 million at the current exchange rate) .

The products of MGE Office Protection System consist of single-phase UPS and surge suppressors. The products are used to solve the needs of power protection , power distribution and power management in the office, network and industrial markets. Distribution channels include mainstream information technology (IT), data communications, electrical and industrial distributors, and IT/telecom original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
