Functional Overview
The IS410JPDSG1A is a 24-channel discrete (digital) input module in the GE Mark VIe control system. Its primary function is to collect discrete signals (contact open/close signals) generated by field devices such as sensors,
 switches, and relays, convert them into digital signals that can be recognized and processed by the PLC or control system CPU,
and transmit the processed data to the GE Speedtronic turbine control system or other control equipment, enabling automated control and monitoring.

The complete system includes a firewall loadable security module (LSM) that compares network traffic to a set of rules and supports all commonly used industrial protocols. This newly released product includes the EtherNet/IP Enforcer LSM, which provides deep packet analysis of EtherNet/IP (CIP) communications. Tofino can also be configured remotely with Netconnect LSM, providing users with more flexibility. Not only that, LSM can also be set up, such as Modbus monitoring program and OPC monitoring program. LSM provides deep packet inspection for these critical industrial protocols, and Event Recorder LSM is able to log security events and send alerts. You can purchase LSM pre-installed or separately.

The 9202-ETS MTL security device provides in-depth protection for a wide range of products including DCS, PLC, SCADA, network and automation systems. Since it has no IP address of its own, it is invisible on the network and is uniquely designed to block threats without interrupting critical process applications.
